What are the key benefits?

  • Ensuring pedagogical value: Pedagogy goes first. The FeedbackFruits Library is a central place to get inspiration and learn about the best Teaching & Learning practices being used at institutions around the world, by educational experts. Our templates are evidence-based, focusing on student outcomes and engagement.

  • Simplified, faster, and easier set-up for teachers: Creating a well-designed assignment takes time. Now, just browse for the tool you want to use and implement a high-quality assignment, learning journey or rubric template in one click.

  • Get started faster: Getting started with a new tool may be a burden for teachers, Learning Designers, and central teams, slowing down technology adoption and implementation. Our ready-made, proven learning design content helps teachers get started, easing up your first experience with FeedbackFruits.

How to use it?

You can find the Learning Design Community: FeedbackFruits Library in the tool-picker. Just find the template for the tool you would like to use and click on 'Implement'. You will get a copy of the template in your course, which you can always tailor and adapt to your student needs, without altering the FeedbackFruits template.

In the near future, it will be possible to access to these templates via a QR or link in our website, or during webinars and events.

Why did we create this?

We acknowledge the importance of community in education; together, we can make a greater impact, learning from each other. The FeedbackFruits team has been sharing best practices and templates from our Partners upon request, but now we want to make them accessible to everyone. Besides, we have developed this functionality with the aim of reducing the workload of teachers and Learning Designers when setting up assignments, learning journeys and rubrics, helping instructors who struggle to get started with our tools, and enabling a smoother adoption of our solutions.

What’s the availability?

The Learning Design Community is released under Feature Flag and available upon request. All FeedbackFruits partnership packages will have access to these templates, based on the tools available to the institution. This includes: Get Started, Feedback & Assessment, Collaboration & Engagement, Custom Pedagogies, Competency Based Assessment, Teaching & Learning System. If you or your institution are interested, please contact your FeedbackFruits Pilot and Partner Success Manager or your main FeedbackFruits contact person.

Learning Analytics: Engagement exports

Our Learning Analytics solution is expanding even more! Together with Course and Cohort ratings and reviews exports, now teachers can also export engagement data based on discussions posts, question card answers, and any comments.

Learning Analytics provide teachers with comprehensive insights into student achievement and engagement, helping improve teaching quality and student experience.

What are the key benefits?

  • Data-informed decisions: Teachers can now make data-informed interventions for students at risk, and evaluate their learning design based on broader, comparative data. Both these improvements lead to an enhancement in student outcomes and retention. You can find all this data within the FeedbackFruits Platform, under Insights.

  • All in one file: Easily download consolidated data from various FeedbackFruits activities into a single export, saving time on data management and merging.

  • Easily integrate your data: Institutions can integrate this raw data into their existing institutional data infrastructures for further analysis and insights.

How to use it?

Within FeedbackFruits Platform, navigate to Insights. In there, you can download Course or Cohort analytics. Select the Course or Cohort, or create a new Cohort if you don't have one, and just click on the 'Export data'. You will obtain one file with all the feedback (ratings and reviews) and engagement data (discussions posts, question card answers, and any comments) combined.

Why did we create this?

Our enhanced Learning Analytics solution simplifies student progress assessment and activity effectiveness analysis. By integrating FeedbackFruits data, educators can effortlessly track development, identify at-risk students, and refine teaching strategies for better learning outcomes.

What’s the availability?

The Learning Analytics is released under Feature Flag and available upon request for Toolsuite Partners. If you or your institution are interested, please contact your FeedbackFruits Pilot and Partner Success Manager or your main FeedbackFruits contact person.

Pre-announcements

New Assignments redesign and phasing out versions 1.0 and 2.0

Since the last release, we have been applying enhanced, new workflow designs to Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation, Self-Assessment of Skills and Self-Assessment of Work. The redesigns streamline the feedback-giving process, featuring a refined interface that improves usability while maintaining familiarity.

Currently, these new workflows are already available for all newly created activities, for all users with access to Peer Review, Self-Assessment and Group Member Evaluation. From the next release onwards, on June 14th, the new designs will be the default workflow, and we will phase out the old versions (1.0 and 2.0).

Here’s an overview of what to expect:

  • Until June 13, 2024:

    • Already created assignments: will not be modified. They will maintain their current look and feel.

    • Newly created assignments: All assignments that are created from scratch (i.e. not from Copy from Existing or Templates) will automatically adopt the new user interface and workflow.

    • Using or sending Copy from existing & Templates: Assignments copied from past versions (Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation and Self-assessment 1.0 and 2.0) will maintain their current review process.

  • After June 14, 2024:

    • Already created assignments: will not be modified. They will maintain their current look and feel.

    • Newly created assignments: All assignments that are created from scratch will automatically adopt the new user interface and workflow.

    • Using or sending Copy from existing & Templates: All newly assignments created by Copy from Existing and Templates, regardless of their origin, will transition to the newly redesigned user interface. Users will no longer have the option to revert to the old version, ensuring consistency across all assignments.

What's the availability?

These improvements will be automatically available to all users with access to Peer Review, Self-Assessment and Group Member Evaluation upon release, without the need for additional requests. If you have any questions or concerns about this transition, please reach out to your FeedbackFruits Partner Success or contact person.
