New Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation and Self-Assessment redesign
Our feedback tools have a fresh new look! Building upon the success of Skill Review and Assignment Review redesign, we are applying the enhanced designs on Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation, Self-Assessment of Skills and Self-Assessment of Work.
What will students experience? A more intuitive and seamless experience, empowering them to deliver high-quality feedback effortlessly. The redesigns streamline the feedback-giving process, featuring a refined interface, improving usability while maintaining familiarity.

Why we made this: Our latest developments respond directly to our user needs and preferences. We aim to simplify and enhance the feedback experience, ensuring seamless navigation between ratings and reviews for students, on all devices. As well, we're streamlining flows across our solutions, offering a consistent experience between our Feedback tools and our Platform, simplifying navigation and user onboarding.
Availability: These improvements will be available to all users with access to Peer Review, Self-Assessment and Group Member Evaluation upon release, without the need for additional requests. To ensure users can get familiar with the new flow without disrupting existing activities and courses, this is our roll-out plan:
After April Release (April 19, 2024 - June 14, 2024):
Already created assignments: will not be modified. They will maintain their current look and feel.
Newly created assignments: All assignments that are created from scratch (i.e. not from Copy from Existing or Templates) will automatically adopt the new user interface and workflow.
Using or sending Copy from existing & Templates: Assignments copied from past versions (Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation and Self-assessment 1.0 and 2.0) will maintain their current review process.
After June 14, 2024:
Already created assignments: will not be modified. They will maintain their current look and feel.
Newly created assignments: All assignments that are created from scratch will automatically adopt the new user interface and workflow.
Using or sending Copy from existing & Templates: All newly assignments created by Copy from Existing and Templates, regardless of their origin, will transition to the newly redesigned user interface. Users will no longer have the option to revert to the old version, ensuring consistency across all assignments.
Learning Analytics: Course and Cohort exports for ratings and reviews
Our Learning Analytics solution is expanding! Learning Analytics provide teachers with comprehensive insights into student achievement and engagement, helping improve teaching quality and student experience.
Teachers can now make data-informed interventions for students at risk, and evaluate their learning design based on broader, comparative data. Both these improvements lead to an enhancement in student outcomes and retention. You can find all this data within the FeedbackFruits Platform, under Insights.
With the new Course and Cohort export functionalities, teachers can now obtain consolidated data from various FeedbackFruits activities into a single export, saving time on data management and merging. Institutions can integrate this raw data into their existing institutional data infrastructures for further analysis and insights.
More details about Course and Cohort exports:
Course exports for reviews: complementing our previous release Course exports for ratings. Teachers will be able to access and export student data on feedback (ratings and reviews) for each course. Find more information about Course exports here.
Cohort exports: teachers and learning designers will be able to choose different courses, such as a cohort or for a specific program, and export all the feedback data (ratings and reviews) combined. Find more information about Cohort exports here.

Fig. 4: List of different cohorts, teachers can click on 'Export data' to export all the FeedbackFruits data of different courses combined.
In the future, more Learning Analytics features will become available, such as student engagement data.
Why we made this: Our enhanced Learning Analytics solution simplifies student progress assessment and activity effectiveness analysis. By integrating FeedbackFruits data, educators can effortlessly track development, identify at-risk students, and refine teaching strategies for better learning outcomes.
Availability: For now, these functionalities are released as Feature Flag and only available upon request. Their availability depends on your FeedbackFruits partnership:
Course exports are available for Feedback & Assessment, Customized Pedagogy (if tools apply), Strategic Outcome Solution and Teaching & Learning System packages.
Cohort exports are available for Strategic Outcome Solution and Teaching & Learning System packages.
If you or your institution are interested, please contact your FeedbackFruits Pilot and Partner Success Manager or your main FeedbackFruits contact person.
Downloadable auto-generated subtitles
When auto-generating subtitles within an Interactive Video, these can sometimes contain a few mistakes. Now it is possible to download them, and leverage them to create accurate, flawless subtitles.
After automatically generating subtitles, teachers will now be able to download the file by clicking on the three dots on the left. They can make manual adjustments and re-upload the edited version.

Why we made this: This improvement was requested by our Partners. We have addressed this feedback and implemented this enhancement to elevate our user experience.
Availability: This improvement will be available to all users with access to Interactive Video upon release, without the need for additional requests.
Improvements for all users
Clickable links in Interactive Presentations
Now, students can click on links within the slides of an Interactive Presentation. Teachers often add links within their presentation slides, providing additional resources or information such as articles or websites. However, the format in which Interactive Presentations slides were displayed didn't allow clicking. Now it is possible.

Why we made this: This improvement was requested by our Partners. We have addressed this feedback and implemented this enhancement to elevate user experience.
Availability: This improvement will be available to all users with access to Interactive Presentation upon release, without the need for additional requests.
