As of 26th January, 2024 (Version 2.98):
We are making a change in Peer Review, Group Member Evaluation, and Self-Assessment activities.
What's Changing?
We are removing the grading facet "has written minimum number of required comments" (shortened to "required comments").
Why? It was confusing and duplicated the functionality in another grading facet: "has completed giving feedback".
The "has completed giving feedback" facet allows instructors to set comment requirements in feedback criteria and gives students proportional grades based on the number of comments they have left.
How Does This Affect You?
Activities created before 26th January, 2024:
No change! You can modify grading facets as always.
Activities created after 26th January, 2024 (but copied from older activities with "required comments"):
Any original weight (%) from "required comments" will be moved to "has completed giving feedback". If "completed giving feedback" was off, it will be turned on.
All other activities after 26th January, 2024:
"Required comments" will no longer be an option in the grading module.
