Analytics: Overview
Analytics shows you how students are doing across all your FeedbackFruits courses in one place. You can see which courses are on track and which need attention without opening each activity.
For what each number means and how we calculate it, see this article.

What is Analytics?
You will find every course in your LMS that contains at least one FeedbackFruits activity. There is nothing to set up. Add a FeedbackFruits activity to a course and the course appears here.
Three pillars carry the data:
| Pillar | Answers the question |
|---|---|
| Completion | Are students doing the work? |
| Engagement | How actively are they taking part? |
| Performance | How well are they doing? |
Completion tells you whether students hand their work in. Performance tells you how well they score on it. Engagement sits between the two: how much students put in along the way.
Next to the pillars, the Action center lists situations you can do something about, such as a group of students who’ve missed a deadline
How to access Analytics
You can access your course analytics, either through your FeedbackFruits activity inside the LMS, or by accessing the FeedbackFruits Platform, where your spaces and templates live. See below both access points.
The All courses page
The All courses page is where you land. It has three parts.
1. Course overall scores
Three rings at the top summarise all your courses together: Completion, Engagement and Performance. Here you can get a quick grasp across all your courses.
2. The course list
Below the rings you get one row per course, with its Completion, Engagement and Performance score and a bar for comparing courses at a glance. Each row also contains a column on actions that might need your attention for that course.
Select a row to open the course in detail.
3. The Action center
On the right you will find everything waiting for a decision, grouped by course. The Action center gathers the situations that need a decision from you and groups them by course. The number in the header counts the items still open. As of right now, missing submissions is the signal you can take action on.
Taking action
Select an item to open it. You will see which students are affected, and you can choose one of three options:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Extend the deadline | Gives a selection of students more time to submit. |
| Send a message to students | Sends an email reminder to the students who have not submitted. |
| Mark as resolve | Removes the action from your to do list, and rather in previous actions. |
