This month, we’re excited to release a set of improvements designed to make it easier than ever to get started with FeedbackFruits. Whether you're exploring our tools for the first time or setting up your next activity, our goal is simple: help you find what you need quickly, understand which solution works best for your use case, and make setup easier than ever.

Place FeedbackFruits activities with ease – Publish to LMS / Course Navigation Placement for Canvas

We’re excited to announce that Publish to LMS is now live and available for Canvas! This new functionality makes it much easier to get started by allowing you to place FeedbackFruits activities directly into your course from the course navigation — no extra steps needed.

Whether you're setting up your first activity or adding a new one mid-course, Publish to LMS simplifies the process and helps you discover the right learning activities for your teaching goals. By removing unnecessary complexity from the setup process, Publish to LMS helps you get FeedbackFruits activities into your course more smoothly

Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ (feature flagged)

Last release, we’ve introduced a new pattern to make setting up a FeedbackFruits learning activity from a template easier. We’ve now also added support for setting up groups, if the template is configured to have learning steps completed in groups.

With the new Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ feature, we allow teachers to finalize each learning activity placed as a template, by adding the deadlines and groups through a guided experience.

Editing the full activity is no longer needed in most cases, as the template will already contain most settings for the intended learner experience. We are excited to hear feedback on this change to the flow of setting up activities, as we feel especially first-time and infrequent users of FeedbackFruits will benefit from this.

The Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ functionality is now available after activating for your institution by your partner manager. We are planning to make this experience the default from September 2025 release onwards.

We’ve refreshed the Library experience to better support your entire learning design journey – from designing and teaching to optimizing and scaling.

The new Learning Design System features:

• A cleaner, more intuitive interface
• Clearer terminology across the platform

You'll still find all your templates, rubrics, and journeys – just in a more organized and scalable environment.

In Product Branding Change

We’ve updated our branding across the platform to reflect our new visual identity — including a refreshed logo, colors, and naming updates that bring more clarity and consistency. These changes set the foundation for a more cohesive experience across all teams.

Chat Widget Improvements

We’ve resolved an issue that temporarily disabled automatic authentication in the chat widget. You’ll now be automatically signed in when using the widget through our platform, so your chat history will be visible again while signed in.

👉 Tip: If you switch between tabs, refresh the page to load ongoing conversations. If one tab is signed in and another isn't, chat history won’t sync across both.
