Adding a FeedbackFruits tool in Blackboard

In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of adding a FeedbackFruits assignment to you course in just a few steps. Still having trouble? Just contact our support team through the green button in the bottom left of the screen!

  1. To start, go to the Blackboard course in which you want to add one of the FeedbackFruits tools, and navigate to the ‘Content’ tab.

2. Here you see all course content and you simply add a FeedbackFruits tool where ever you want in your course. You can find FeedbackFruits tools under 'Build Content' OR 'Assessments' OR 'Tools'. This depends on specific settings of your institution. In this example, FeedbackFruits can be found under Tools > more tools > e.g. Peer Review.

If the following overview is available, simply click "FeedbackFruits" after which the toolpicker will become available for you.

Here you will be able to create brand new activities by choosing one of FeedbackFruits tools, copy assignment set ups from past activities, or use personal, shared or institutional templates (including Learning Journeys). For more information on how to use the toolpicker, please read more here.

3. Now, select the FeedbackFruits tool, existing activity or template that you want to add, fill in the name of the assignment or of the document/video (make sure the name is recognizable for students), and click on ‘Submit'.

That’s it! You’ve now added the FeedbackFruits tool to your course in Blackboard. What follows now is the setting-up of the different features. To see how that works, click on one of the tool-specific articles in our Help Center.

Adding a FeedbackFruits tool in Blackboard Ultra

  1. To start, go to the Blackboard course in which you want to add one of the FeedbackFruits tools, and navigate to the ‘Content’ tab.

  2. Here you see all course content and you simply add a FeedbackFruits tool where ever you want in your course. You can do so by hovering over the existing assignments and clicking the '+' when you will find the following overview:

3. Here you can select "Content Market" after which an overview of all available external tools will become available for you. Please select FeedbackFruits, potentially visible with our logo as can be seen below:

4. From here you will be redirected to our toolpicker where you can choose amongst different options: you can create brand new activities by choosing one of FeedbackFruits tools, copy assignment set ups from past activities, or use personal, shared or institutional templates (including Learning Journeys). 5. Add the desired settings to the activity, give it a name, and press "save" in the upper right corner and your activity will be ready.
