Helpdesk article students
This article will guide you through the process of using FeedbackFruits’ Automated Feedback as a student. Please note that the feedback checks you receive on your hand-in are not visible to the teacher and are solely there to help out the student.
Read the teacher’s instructions and take a look at the checks that your teacher activated for the assignment. This can be done by selecting the show more option in step two of the assignment, as shown below.
Hand in your assignment at step 2. After handing in the assignment the system will check your document to see if the required feedback is present in your document. The checking of your document will take about two to three minutes.
The feedback given to you by the system can be either a compliment or a recommendation. A compliment is given if the system recognizes that a feedback point is present in your document. A recommendation is given if a feedback point is missing from your document.
If the system gives you a recommendation you can click the button show comments in order to view the feedback in your document. However, the feedback given by the system is not always perfect, as such if you don’t agree with the recommendation you can press ‘object to outcome’. Objecting to an outcome that you believe is incorrect will actually help us improve the quality of our feedback.
