Course Analytics (beta): filter on groups
Before: Course Analytics showed the data of all students in a course together.
Now: You can filter Course Analytics on groups. Pick a group from any of the course's group sets to see how just those students are doing. Where your LMS sections are synced to FeedbackFruits, they show up as a "Sections" group set.
Who benefits? Instructors and teaching assistants who look after one or a few groups in a large course. You see how your students are doing, without the noise from the rest of the class.
Course Analytics is in beta and available to all users.

Turnitin: hand in under embargo
Some assignments contain sensitive information, such as company data or personal details. With the Turnitin integration, you can now let students hand in under embargo: their work is still checked for plagiarism, but it is not added to the Turnitin database.
How does it work? Once Plagiarism check is turned on for an activity, you'll see a new setting: Submissions will be under embargo. It's off by default and applies to work handed in after you turn it on.

Oral Assessment and Practice (beta)
As generative AI makes it harder to verify whether submitted work reflects a student's own thinking, oral assessment allows students to demonstrate their learning by putting it into their own words, out loud.
Three new activities support this at scale: Oral Practice, for formative rehearsal with an AI voice agent or a peer; Oral Reflection, for recording video responses to defined topics about submissions or skills; and Oral Assessment, for running instructor-led summative activities within the LMS with a consistent structure and no additional workload.
Instructors can review recordings and interactive transcripts, use rubrics to provide structured feedback, and assign grades, all within FeedbackFruits. Acai, our pedagogy-driven AI, supports the process by helping instructors outline topics and generate rubrics during setup, surfacing key moments during review, and suggesting grades. The final decision always remains with the instructor.
Oral Assessment and Practice is currently in beta with selected partners, ahead of general availability. Want to see it in action? Sign up for an early demo.
