Overview
FeedbackFruits supports modern, standards-compliant web browsers to provide the best experience across Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
For optimal performance and security, we recommend using the latest stable version of your preferred browser and keeping both your browser and operating system up to date.
If you experience unexpected behaviour, such as authentication issues, activities not loading, or repeated sign-in prompts, first verify that you're using a supported browser and operating system.
Supported Browsers
FeedbackFruits officially supports the current and previous major releases of:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
Older browser versions may continue to work but are not actively tested or officially supported.
Google Chrome is recommended because it provides the most consistent experience across FeedbackFruits.
Browser Requirements
To ensure FeedbackFruits functions correctly:
Keep your browser updated to the latest available version.
Enable JavaScript.
Enable cookies.
Allow third-party cookies where required by your LMS or FeedbackFruits authentication.
Disable browser extensions that may interfere with authentication or page functionality if you experience issues.
Supported Operating Systems
FeedbackFruits supports operating systems capable of running the latest supported browser versions.
This includes modern versions of:
Windows
macOS
Linux
iOS
Android
We recommend keeping your operating system updated with the latest security patches and browser updates.
Safari Limitations
Safari is supported, but due to Apple's Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), some FeedbackFruits functionality may be affected.
ITP restricts third-party cookies used during authentication between your LMS and FeedbackFruits. Because Safari builds a local domain reputation on each device, these issues can occur unpredictably.
You may experience:
Activities opening in a new browser tab instead of inside your LMS
Authentication failures inside embedded LMS pages
Repeated login prompts
Being signed out after approximately one hour
Intermittent authentication issues that vary between devices
When possible, FeedbackFruits will display a message prompting you to continue in a new browser tab.
Recommended workaround
If you experience these issues in Safari, we recommend using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
Note: Safari behaviour is controlled by the browser itself and may vary depending on your privacy settings and browsing history.
Browser Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing issues while using FeedbackFruits:
Update your browser to the latest version.
Update your operating system.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Disable browser extensions or plugins that may interfere with authentication.
Disconnect any VPN or proxy and try again.
Open FeedbackFruits in an Incognito or Private browsing window.
Try another supported browser.
If the issue persists, contact your institution's LMS administrator or the FeedbackFruits Support team.
Unsupported Browsers
FeedbackFruits does not support browsers that are no longer maintained or receive security updates, including:
Internet Explorer
Microsoft Edge Legacy
Outdated browser versions that no longer receive vendor support
Using unsupported browsers may result in authentication failures, missing functionality, or unexpected behaviour.
Mobile Devices
FeedbackFruits is designed primarily for desktop browsers.
On mobile devices:
Use the latest version of your preferred mobile browser.
Your LMS's official mobile app may offer a better experience for some workflows.
Some FeedbackFruits activities may have limited functionality on smaller screens.
For the best experience, we recommend completing learning activities on a desktop or laptop whenever possible.
