Acai Rubric Assistant helps instructors design clear, consistent rubrics and provides AI-powered suggestions during the rubric creation process. It supports faster setup, better-aligned criteria, and more transparent expectations for students. When you accept Acai’s suggestions, your criteria are also more likely to be usable with Acai Grading Assistant.
What is the Acai Rubric Assistant?
Acai Rubric Assistant is an AI-powered helper that supports you while creating or improving rubrics in FeedbackFruits. It analyzes your existing criteria and descriptions and offers suggestions to:

Improved performance level descriptions
Refine descriptions for each level (for example, “Excellent,” “Satisfactory,” “Needs improvement”) so the differences between levels are explicit and actionable.
Clarity and consistency checks
Get suggestions when criteria are ambiguous, overlapping, or use inconsistent phrasing.
Language polishing
Rephrase level descriptions into clearer, more accessible wording while preserving your intended meaning.
Make rubrics “Acai assisted” for grading
When you accept suggestions and save the rubric, eligible criteria can become Acai Assisted, which allows Acai Grading Assistant to suggest ratings and feedback based on those criteria.
