(16/05/2025) The new release update is scheduled for 12-13 pm CET and contains new functionality (to be enabled per institution, through their partner manager). Additionally, we are pre-announcing functionality that will become available in the June release, to prepare for the next academic year in Europe/US.

Improvements for teachers and LMS admins

Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ (feature flagged)

We are making it easier to set up a FeedbackFruits learning activity from a template. With the new Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ feature, we allow teachers to finalize each learning activity placed as a template, by adding the deadlines (and in future, if relevant, groups & instructions) through a guided experience.

By realizing this, editing the full activity is no longer needed in most cases, as the template will already contain most settings for the intended learner experience. We are excited to hear feedback on this change to the flow of setting up activities, as we feel especially first-time and infrequent users of FeedbackFruits will benefit from this.

Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ is one of the first in a series of improvements aiming to make FeedbackFruits easier to get started with.

The Guided ‘finish setting up activity’ functionality is now available after activating for your institution by your partner manager. In the future, once support for groups & instructions has been added, it will become the default experience. We will pre-announce the rollout in due time.

Pre-announcement: Publish to LMS / Access to FeedbackFruits from Course Navigation

We’re excited to pre-announce the Publish to LMS functionality arriving in June (for Canvas/Brightspace users), aiming to make it simpler to place a FeedbackFruits activity into the preferred place in your course.

By accessing FeedbackFruits directly from your course navigation bar, and placing an activity from there, we want to support faculty/educators in discovering the Learning Design System and enriching their course through it further.
