Acai Grading Assistant in Interactive Study Materials

That's why we're excited to introduce the Acai Grading Assistant, a brand-new feature designed to make providing insightful feedback on student work faster and more efficient within your Assignment Review and ISM activities.

Think of Acai as your helpful AI co-pilot for grading. It intelligently reads student submissions and offers a suggested rating based on pre-defined, high-quality criteria. This is just one piece of our growing suite of AI-powered tools aimed at simplifying and enhancing your teaching workflow, so you can focus on what matters most – guiding your students' learning journey.

Acai Grading Assistant is currently feature flagged - please ask your Pilot/Partner Manager at FeedbackFruits to turn it on for you if you'd like to try it out.

Improved Group Discussions in ISM

Discussions initiated by teachers in Interactive Study Materials (ISM) can now be configured to take place within groups. Previously, the “Within Groups” setting was only supported for group-initiated discussions.

This improvement significantly enhances scalability for teacher-led discussions in large courses, allowing for more targeted and manageable conversations within smaller cohorts. It’s especially powerful when combined with Acai Grade Assist, enabling more effective and engaging social learning activities.

Seamless Vimeo Integration via API

We’ve officially integrated with Vimeo through their API, ensuring a faster and more reliable video upload experience. Uploads via Vimeo URL are now near-instantaneous and significantly more stable.

In cases where a video is private or un-embeddable, users will now see clear error messages in the toast notification, making it easier to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Discussion Grading and Interactive Study Material Guide

We're always looking for ways to make your learning experiences more dynamic and impactful. That's why we're excited to introduce Discussion Grading – a flexible new feature you can optionally weave into your existing Interactive Study Material activities.

Think of it as a way to deepen student engagement and assess their understanding through rich, interactive discussions. Whether you're using documents, videos, or audio, this feature seamlessly integrates, adding a layer of collaborative learning and insightful evaluation.

Improved Toolpicker Experience

We're always looking for ways to empower you with more creative and effective tools. With our latest update on March 21st, we're introducing a new opt-in feature that opens up a world of learning design possibilities right within your toolpicker. To opt in, please contact your Pilot/Partner Manager at FeedbackFruits.

Imagine having a curated gallery of design templates at your fingertips! By simply enabling a feature flag, you'll unlock an "explore all" view, your gateway to discovering innovative activity setups and learning journey structures.

Getting started is a breeze. Once you open your toolpicker, you'll notice a brand-new card. This isn't just any card – it's your direct link to a thoughtfully designed filtering experience. And don't worry, you can always easily exit this exploration mode whenever you like.

Stepping into the explore page, you'll immediately gain access to intuitive filters. Need a specific type of activity? You can filter by category, whether it's discussion-based, peer feedback focused, or centered around social annotation. This makes it incredibly simple to pinpoint the perfect activity or setup for your needs.

But we don't stop there. To help you even further, you can utilize additional filters. Looking for templates from specific libraries? Want to differentiate between standalone activities and comprehensive learning journeys? Our filters allow you to narrow down your search with precision, ensuring you find exactly what you're looking for.

We believe this new "explore all" functionality will be a fantastic resource for sparking new ideas and streamlining your learning design process. Give it a try and see what inspiring templates you discover!
