How to send FeedbackFruits activities or templates that you've created to other users

Updated over a week ago

This article covers the option of sending a copy of activities in FeedbackFruits, as well as receiving activity set ups and how to implement them.

Sending a copy of an activity

Although templates are per user, they can also be easily shared with others, so more peers or other faculty members can use them for their courses. You can do so through two different ways:

Within Personal or Shared Libraries

In the platform, in Personal or Shared Libraries, you will find a list of activities that are part of that library. Next to each activity title, on the right side you will find the three dots menu. You can select 'send a copy' there.

Within a learning activity

Another option is to enter in the learning activity you want to send. Then, navigate to the three dot menu on the top right corner of your screen. You can select 'send a copy' there.

In both instances, you will see a dialogue box appear, where you can enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the activity with. And that's all!

Where to find sent activities

Once you've sent a copy of an activity to someone they will be able to see this activity in two places:

  1. From the LMS, in the tool picker under "sent to me" section

  2. In their library, in the 'sent to me' tab

They will also receive an email where they can view the activity setup that you have sent to them. Viewing the setup will take them to their library.

Implementing and editing the activity

Once you've received a copy of a learning activity you can always find it in your Library (if you want to learn more about that, then make sure to check this article.)

Remember that what you've received is only a copy of that original activity, so you can always make changes to it as you please. So no need to worry about it affecting the original creators activity.

If you want to make changes that will persist in the template, you can do so in my library. However, for settings that vary more from activity to activity, such as allocations and deadlines, we recommend selecting the activity from the tool picker in the sent to me column, and continue set-up as usual.
