In the updated Group Member Evaluation review interface, the reviews are grouped in one frame. The student can more easily see an overview of their team members, and compare the feedback they give their various team members.
Students can start reviewing either by clicking on purple button at step 2 to start or continue reviewing, or by clicking on the name of the team member they would like to review.
Inside the new review interface, the feedback criteria and descriptions are displayed in the far-left column. In the columns to the right, the student's team members are displayed. The students are able to navigate between the reviews during the process to more easily compare the feedback they've given between various team members.
When placing a review comment, student can click on the comment button below the respective feedback criterion. A comment window will pop up in which they can leave their feedback. They are also able to re-use feedback they've given before in the assignment.
After posting a comment they will see an overview of all of the review comments they have left for a particular team member.
The students can see how far along in the review process by tracking the progress bar at the top right of the assignment. Once they have finished all of the review they will see 100% completion, and the purple button will say done.
Reading and reflecting on received feedback
Students read their feedback by either clicking on review overview or by clicking on the name of the peer who's feedback they would like to read.
The received feedback interface has the same lay-out as the interface for giving feedback. In the first column next to the feedback criteria they will see all of their received feedback and averaged scores. In the following column they can see the scores and review comments per team member.
When looking at review comments collectively, students are able to filter on 'most recently posted', 'most replied on' and 'most upvoted'.
