Interactive Presentation has been iterated on a lot the previous quarters. Many improvements have been made. Features have been added, the user interface has been improved continuously and many bugs have been fixed. Now the remaining issue is: stability when used on a large scale. And for this, we need multiple successful tests.

The state of the product currently is as such, that for smaller groups < 70, Interactive Presentation is relatively stable. We've underestimated the time necessary to bring this tool up to our production standards. We need more large scale tests to ensure stability. Once there have been enough successful tests, the tool is released to production. Until then, Interactive Presentation will be labeled as beta.

I want to help with testing Interactive Presentation! How does it work?

We need large scale tests to be able to test the stability of the tool. We are aiming for Interactive Presentation to easily support a group of 400 students. Any test with a group larger than 70 students would help validation.
If you are interested in trying out Interactive Presentation, we will give you an introduction to how the tool works. You will also be in touch with Felix, our developer/product owner of the tool. He will carefully guide you through the best practices before a test. Preferably, he would like to attend the lecture, to check the performance of the tool in the classroom and improve the tool accordingly. He could also help you if something minor goes wrong, so you could easily continue the presentation. If you are interested in helping to validate the stability of this tool, please send an email to [email protected].

Audience discussion feature currently disabled

During a presentation, audience discussion is a feature developed to ask the audience a question without having the question in your slides, and having the answers of participants appear on the screen. This chat functionality exists in the tool itself and is easy to switch to, one click away from your slides. We are currently facing an issue with this feature, for this reason we have temporarily disabled it until further notice. We will make this functionality available again once this issue has been resolved.
