This article will guide you through how can you invite or add students to your courses and stand-alone activities with FeedbackFruits.

Adding students to a course

Once you have set up a course on our platform, built a structure of folders and embedded content, students can be invited on the member page of the course.

Navigate to the overview page of the course (activities). Next to activities, there is a button for members. Clicking on members will bring you to this page. In the bottom right corner you can click the plus-button to add students or teachers.

The following screen will appear to add students to your course. You can write or paste several email addresses (separated by a comma or between < >), and select which role do you wanna give to them. You can chose either adding them as students or as teachers. Make sure to press 'add members' to send the invites to join the course.

On the member page (two screenshots above) you will always have an overview of all students in your course. You can see who has a teacher role, a students role and who hasn't accepted the invitation yet.

When an invitation is still pending, you can see the list of invited students (and teachers) and you can send them a reminder to join the course. Students are added to FeedbackFruits once they accept their invite to the course. You can also delete  students by pressing on the red bin icon.

Adding students to a stand-alone activity
You can also add students to your separate assignments within the FeedbackFruits platform by following a very similar process. Once you are inside your already created learning activity, press '+ Invite Students' in the top right of your screen.

Afterwards, a screen like the one in the 'members' page from a course will appear (see screenshot below). Here you will be able to know the role of the participants and if the have accepted the invite or not.

You can either add students by pressing on the blue plus button in the bottom right, or by sharing a link with them, which you can find on the top right. If you press 'get sharing link', you will see the following.

You can choose who can join this assignment from the link between two options. On one hand, only invited people, an on the other, everyone with the link. Now you can copy the link and share it with your students or other teachers. Press done when you finish, and now your assignment is ready to start!
